Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue is a registered non-profit society. While we do receive a small annual budget from the municipalities of Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge, which is used for office and building expenses, it is through fundraising and public donations that we are able to purchase equipment and provide specialized training for our members. You can help us by participating in some of our fundraising activities.
SPECIAL NOTE!
Search and Rescue Teams in the Lower Mainland DO NOT solicit for funds over the telephone. If you get a phone call asking for a donation, it is not from an active SAR Group in the Greater Vancouver Area (Pemberton to Hope). If you want to make a donation to the SAR Group in your area , please contact them directly.
