Just after 1845hrs Saturday night, the pagers alerted us to a medical rescue at Goose Lake above the Golden Eagles Golf Course. A group of young males had alerted BCAS that one of them was experiencing a medical condition. A hasty team was dispatched with a stretcher and first aid equipment. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that there was no immediate threat to the subject's health and he was able to be walked out. BCAS transported the subject to hospital for further evaluation. During the call, one of the SAR members suffered an injury to his knee but was able to walk out under his own power.
